Told in rhyme and packed with playful charm, this book is perfect for children and grown-ups alike who enjoy a good giggle and a warm cuddle at storytime.
Come meet Grandad, the curious kids, and of course, the mischievous pigeon who started it all.

The Story Behind the Story
How a Joke Became a Book, and a Creative Journey I’ll Never Forget
It started with a joke.
My son, Travis, said something funny to his Grandad, something about a pigeon swooping down and stealing his hair. It made us all laugh, but more than that, it stuck with me. There was a spark there. A silly idea with a strangely magical feel to it.
So I wrote a draft. Just a few lines at first.
Then I connected with a designer and started shaping the story into something more. I offered guidance, played with the visuals, and even edited the updates in Photoshop myself. It wasn’t perfect, but it was progress.
And then, like so many creative projects, life got in the way.
The story sat still for a while. A long while. Years, even.
But something about that pigeon just wouldn’t leave me alone.
A couple of years later, I picked it back up.
Refined it. Tightened the rhythm. Polished the pages.
And finally, I completed it.
To this day, The Pigeon That Stole Grandad’s Hair remains one of the most creative things I’ve ever done.
It was an opportunity to show my kids that if you have an idea, you can bring something to life.
That with a bit of time, love, and belief, the smallest moment can turn into something magical.
